Children will also especially love sitting in the Youngtimers' Express Choo Choo Train as well as visiting with some beloved storybook land characters. Children can also make a Christmas ornament and listen to Christmas stories read by the Youngtimers! Don't forget your cameras as the stage will be very beautiful for your visit with Santa! | |
Youngtimers are hosting Covenant Hall's Fourth Light Up Night! | The Hall will be open to the public at 4:30 November 19, 2009 | Laurel Youth Ballet Company performing from 5:30 to 6:00 selections from their upcoming Nutcracker, followed by Ed Lovejoy and Bob Spear playing on the button box and banjo, Slovenian Style Polka and Waltz Music along with a few Banjo Sing A-Long Tunes. Humperdinck’s opera, Hänsel and Gretel has captivated the world since its premiere in 1893 and has been translated into 20 languages! The New York Times wrote that it is no more a children’s opera than Alice in Wonderland is a children’s book. They said that although children are enthralled, it is an artwork very much for adults and thus we Youngtimers are hoping that children of all ages will come enjoy a taste of our version of Masterpiece Theatre!
